On O'Reilly tonight a an illegal alien is seen pointing a pistol at a member of the Yuma Patriots in a video clip. The Patriots are a group apparently inspired by the minutemen.
Too bad the cameraman didn't have a rifle.

If that cameraman had had a rifle or even a handgun of his own and used it, it would have been because this obvious rightwing conservative racist vigilante was out to kill innocent immigrants who were only going about their own business. Is that about right Cam?

How well do you think that would play in the press and do you really think you would have public support?

The point he was trying to make was that even if he had shot him in self defense the leftist moonbats would be crying foul. This group was started by a man whose son was robbed of his car and money at gunpoint by illegals, the son had just returned home from Iraq. They also discussed how Yuma is being over run, crops are being stolen as are cars and they are in danger from illegals w/guns. But I suppose we should just take, they are after all just looking for a better life...

Precisely. I'm glad someone gets it.

Seriously though, they don't tell us how far the two were from each other. At close range the guy with the pistol has the advantage of speed and surprise, at 50 meters or so MY MONEY is on the guy with the long gun.

I fear that situation at the southern border may possibly turn violent. We already had incidentcies where even Mexican army fired at our border patrols. We know that some of the "coyotes" are armed. It may not take long, and we may see the first casualty. Once that happen, some illegals may get shot crossing the border. I don't believe that police will be able to stop it. I wonder what the politicans will do, when that happens. They will try to blame everything on Minutemen just to make Mr. Fox happy camper.

If an armed robber trespasses on your property or invades your home, pointing a gun at you -- What do you do? You have a gun as well. Do you wait to see if he's going to shoot you, or do you take him out first?

Well, I have always been of the Quigley school of thought when it comes to handguns - "Well, sir, I never had much use for one." And trust me I have owned a group of them and even own two now. But whenever possible I'll take the long gun over the hand gun any day. We have two short shotguns strategically placed in the house now as burglar discouragers.

What you fail to recognize is just how big a propaganda coo you would be handing to those opposed to your policy proscriptions. The worst possible thing that could happen from your perspective, would be for a civilian to kill a Mexican crossing the border. That is just reality Mario something you in the anti-reasonable-solutions crowd seem to have a real hard time coming to grips with. Was that simple enough for you, or do I need to break out the crayons?

Mario, thats easy. Those who would come here today will be found here tomorrow. They would only point their weapon once and last time.
