I agree with half of it, I totally disagree with the other half of it.
Like Tancredo said (or it may have been NY rep Peter King), "I'd rather have NO IMMIGRATION BILL than a flawed one."

I sent BOTH Tancredo and King an e-mail thanking them for speaking for me (even though I'm not one of their constituents). If you agree with my position, I'd urge you to do the same. I think it matters.

I tried to listen to it but one of the office idiots decided he had to blather on about something stupid at the same time. I turn up the TV, idiot talks louder. Guess I'll have to read the text. Man I can't wait to get home.

Practice this.
Hey office idiot. STFU!
Unless he ranks you, of course.

I was watching "On the Record" and some hispanic actor was on commenting on the presidents speech. I sooooo wanted to slap that moron, he said just think of them as Native Americans who speak Spanish. WHAT? Native to the country they are from, not native to North America. What an uneducated moron, apparently he got his talking points from MECHA.

Was a Master Sgt. so there was no STFU.
Jfree, It cracks me up how these idiots think that all the territory to the north belongs to them. Add to that the FACT that quite a few of them have more spanish blood in them then any other and the hipocracy just gets better.

He had a couple of real whoppers in there! 1) Mexico is our friend. 2) We need to stem the tide of illegals wanting to enter our country. So, we need to generate a guest worker program. WTF??? We need fewer illegals so the only answer is to entice them even MORE??? Both of these (and many others - I don't have the text in front of me or I'd offer a page of them) fall flat on their faces. They are obviously bogus to even the most causal observer (assuming that observer has a triple-digit IQ or course).

The RNC had the nerve to send me a letter this morning asking for more financial contributions. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

If I had received it I would have taken the contribution form and written on it with a BIG BLACK Sharpie:
LISTEN TO ME!
SECURE THE BORDER OR I'M STAYING HOME IN NOV.
Bush's plan is an OUTRAGE! It is nowhere close to good enough!
Send it back. With any luck, it will show up on some internal poll.

You're speaking to guy who wants a career with the Republican Party one day. Then again, that might send them the right message. BTW: It's fucking hilarious how they do this. I just took a look at one of the forms in the envelope. They have two forms and a set of stickers. One sticker reads "Yes" and the other "No." The form where the "No" sticker would be affixed reads as follows: "Dear Ken(Mehlman): Sorry, I do not want to defend President Bush against Democrat attacks. Feingold and Kerry have it right." LOL!!! I like how they try to put us on a guilt trip. In Ken Mehlman's letter, he quotes Kerry and Feingold as saying they support impeachment. I don't see this working on too many Republicans. If anything, this crap is going to piss a lot of them off.
