It's very ironic to watch you and Mike talk like that. Compare me with Mario - both of us are very opinionated and feel strongly. We both attack people that don't agree with us and are very forceful in our opinions.
But Chris and I are labeled as young punks who "know everything" while Mario isn't. When I agreed with you, you never attacked me as a young punk who knew it all. Could it be that you just don't like people that don't toe the line, as according to you?

That's exactly it dude, you know it as well as I do. That's what happens when you think.

Let's see. FF...
I can't find the post where I called you a punk...
Can you point it out to me?
"But Chris and I are labeled as young punks who "know everything" while Mario isn't."
Mario isn't up in my face lecturing me about being productive, is he?

Haha, WTF happened with that? It's as if they made the movie for a bunch of 5 yr olds. Big disappointment. Not to mention that they took my favorite character (Venom) and treated him like a little bitch I walked out of that theater wanting to punch babies.... Yeah, they screwed it up big time with the Venom character.

Look, Mike and 101 are smart guys. That much is obvious through our discussions on this board for the last few years. They're also our elders - the least we can do is respect them. I've had my disagreements with them both, James. But I've always kept it respectful. You, Chris, and I are very opinionated, but I don't have a problem getting acrimonious with those my age. Later.

No, you're up in my face for calling you a punk, which I did not do. Nobody brought you in. You jumped head first and opened fire at maximum range.
That chip on your shoulder must weigh thirty pounds.
I'd lose it, if I were you. It doesn't serve you well.

First off.
Let me say that I liked Spiderman 3. I hated Spiderman 2 with a passion and Topher(sp?) Grace as Venom may not have been the best decision, but the graphics for Venom were great and the plot line was a mountain better than it was in Spiderman 2.
Chris, please be sure you don't get hurt too bad from patting yourself on the back. The movie producers motive? Easy, to make money, think about that. Once again the previews left no doubt that this movie wouldn't be very close to the truth, I found it to be a good story none the less. Also, I put in my 8 hours a day so that I can get a paycheck and do with it as I please. I don't work 8 hours so I can get off and go do more work.

Last time I talked about this movie I threw my beer across the room but I'll try and calm down to talk about it...
First off, I know I'm kinda biased because Venom is my favorite character - he's just really cool and I love him. I wouldn't really mind if he was either 1) on the screen a lot but done poorly or 2) done correctly but on the screen a little. Instead what I got was a completely poorly done Venom who was on the screen for about 7 minutes.
I only mind so much because the movie was marketed completely as relating to Venom or the suit. Instead they tried to fill 30 billion plot lines into 2 hours of movie, which is surprising because they knew that Spiderman 4 was already in the works so they didn't have to worry about tying all the loose ends up.
The dancing scenes were just retarded and pointless. Without Venom the movie was "eh" but once I saw how badly they did his character I just became violently angry...

Toby McGuire has never really been a great Spiderman either so I think that has taken away from all the movies. I guess they did kinda short Venom up a bit in this movie and they didn't highten his rivalry with Parker enough to give the character depth, but there were a couple of good lines. "Don't hunt, what you can't kill" "I like being angry, it makes me happy." BTW, Venom is my favorite character as well and the number 1 reason I went to the movie.

Bah!! Right there that was one of my biggest problems. I? I?! When has Venom ever used the word I? One of the reasons why I love Venom so much is his personality disorder and the fact that he always refers to himself as "We". The entire movie I was sitting there waiting to hear Venom's catch phrase......just waiting. Nope - never happened. I didn't get a single "We are Venom!" I heard a rumor that one of the characters thought to be dead will come back for S4. Since Osborn is definitely dead, I'm hoping that's a reference to Venom. Spiderman 4 - Venom plus Carnage?

I figured I'd put my Marvel card and Comic book collection up for sale on Ebay to coincide with the release of Spiderman-3. Surprisingly, it didn't sell. I guess I'll wait a few more years. The stuff will be worth more then.

Sure you don't want to rethink that statement, AP?
